Sundeep Dhillon

I am currently carrying out a split location PhD degree between the University of Birmingham and Biotecont Ltd in Pécs, Hungary. For my project I am measuring electrocardiograms in zebrafish larvae following drug treatment with a selection of 27 drugs. I will then develop other phenotyping tools throughout my PhD, which can then potentially be used as high throughput screens.

I hold an Msc in Toxicology obtained from the University of Birmingham in September 2010, as well as a 2.1 Bsc Honors degree in Medical Microbiology and Virology obtained from the University of Warwick in July 2009.

I lived and was brought up in Műnster (Germany) where I spent most my childhood before moving to Birmingham (England). From a young age I always had an interest in Science and I like to keep myself updated with the latest news in the fields of Microbiology, Virology, Biotechnology and Toxicology.
